Writing is not an exact art or science. That said, the "art of writing" lies within the compelling realm of individuality or, shall we say, a format which compels creativity and conciseness. Writing is, fundamentally, a way to put down the thoughts and feelings a person may have, have had, or even will have - and that is the beauty: The ability to write for the then, the now, and the 'eventually'.
My own experience lies mainly in six-years of college classes that, much to my frustration, seemed to always include a myriad of papers and research. Yet now, as a graduate with two degrees, I can look back with the realization that all the work I put in made me not only a more fluid writer, but also a more compelling one. Yet, at the end of it all, writing is nothing if one must struggle to understand it. Writing must be compelling to the audience, and pleasing to the eyes and yet, at the same time, it should be easy to understand.
This is my system and one I hope to hone moving forward.
